Animal Adoptions of Flamborough

We are a registered charity, operated by a group of volunteers, with the sole purpose of caring for lost, mistreated and abandoned animals. The organization is operated by a VOLUNTEER Board of Directors. All contributions go directly to the care of the animals and any related costs. We must pay rent/boarding fees, veterinary fees and of course, food and litter. Your contributions are necessary to take care of the many animals that are abandoned and alone. These animals require not only medical treatment but your love and care.

Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue

In early 2021, Bark at the Moon Animal Rescue was founded as a means to help provide love, housing, and good health for street dogs, shelter dogs and local dogs in need. We are a non profit, foster based rescue. Our dogs are fostered across South Western Ontario (Ranging from Toronto, to London). Globally, we’ve seen an increase in overpopulation in terms of abandoned and neglected animals since the beginning of the pandemic. Shelters both locally and abroad are overflowing with unwanted pets. With overcrowding in shelters, comes unnecessary euthanasia for many very well-rounded, adoptable pets. Our mission is to save as many dogs (and cats) as possible from unwarranted death.

Hamilton Music Festival

The Hamilton Music Festival is a non-profit, charitable organization. In 2024, we had approximately 1300 entries and we awarded over $27,000.00 in scholarships to piano, voice, musical theatre, strings, woodwinds, classical guitar, choral and music writing participants. This year we are pleased to add organ as a new category. The Hamilton Music Festival is produced each year by ten Board of Directors who volunteer their time, creating the syllabus, seeking out venues, engaging volunteers, selecting adjudicators and raising funds. We are grateful for the support from donors, sponsors and the many participants and their families for recognizing the HMF as a valuable contributor to cultural life.
